The Magellan Toughcase iPhone Case
Today, the iPhone is excellent at the consolidation of all the things that people carry around with them. An iPhone is also a hand held GPS, a book, a watch, and a camera. The problem is that although the iPhone can do all of these things they don't really excel at any of them. That is where Toughcase iPhone case, made by Magellan, comes in. The aim of this iPhone case is to turn the iPhone into a good GPS unit that is handheld.
In order to make the 3G or 3GS iPhone a better GPS device it would have to be much stronger since GPS units are generally abused by being rained on, dropped, and taken outdoors. It would also need a more powerful GPS chip since the iPhone will work well enough but it doesn't match the performance of a standalone device. In addition, the battery would have to last longer since the iPhone's GPS function drains the battery quickly and because people frequently have the desire to leave the screen on while a person is navigating, which can really drain the battery.
The Toughcase iPhone case has a new chip set, has an 1840 mAh battery, waterproofs it, and helps to protect the iPhone from shocks and drops. In addition, the Toughcase iPhone case is designed to offer full functionality from the iPhone, including using the headphone jack, operating the touch screen and calling. It is a very tough iPhone case.
The one disadvantage of the Toughcase iPhone case is its size. The Toughcase iPhone case is considerably larger than the iPhone and therefore the size of your iPhone gets considerable larger.
