After reading all these comments very I decided to purchase this product. I want / need the grill for about a year and this guy seems to suit all my needs. I like the fact that I can grill indoors or outdoors, the price is within my budget, it can be washed in the dishwasher and I can grill rains or not. I like the concept of the product and can not wait to buy! I wonder what will be the first outdoor ... hmmmm ...

After reading all these wonderful reviews i have decided to buy this product. I have wanted/needed a grill for about a year now and this type seems to fit all my needs. I like the fact that i can grill indoors or outdoors, the price is in my budget, it is dishwasher safe and i can grill whether it is raining or not. I really like the concept of this product and cant wait to buy one!! Wonder what i will grill first...hmmmm...

Great indoor grill or outside if you can have charcoal

I love the large size. I took advice of other reviewers 
and covered tray with foil great advice. 
Very easy to use, very easy to clean. 
Cooked steaks one night and chicken. 
Never got smokey. My only suggestion, 
turn on to heat up, it takes a little time to 
heat up.

this grill is great heats up fast and isnt hard to clean at all,grill surface wipes clean, i do it while its still hot with paper towels then rince when cool.i've grilled ribs,steaks,hamburgers,bakin,hotdogs,and toast the buns while grilling.the water tray is shallow but i put just nuff water to cover the surface this is enough to stop the smoking and theres none to very little.it clean very easy also.$[...] no tax free shipping and bonus i got 5 dollar rebate.this grill is top notch would have bin great if it had a glass lid that covered the grill area,i use two foil pans to,cover food exspidites cooking.if you like to cook buy it you wont be disapointed.ps.Sanyo put out a after market glass lid please thx.

Good grill

It works, just as advertised. I've used it a fair amount so far and none of the non-stick coating has came off the grill, which has been a problem in the past with my foreman grills. It's very easy to put together, heats up quickly, and comes apart nicely to wash. My one complaint is that the silver metal pan used to catch the grease under the grill is extremely flimsy. You're supposed to pour in some water to keep it from burning, then there is obviously grease in there too from the meat that was cooked. So, it's not easy to walk over to the sink and dump out this greasy water without spilling it everywhere. That's a big pain. The metal pan also isn't very deep at all, so the grease water is nearly full when you're done cooking. It takes quite a balancing act to get to the sink without spilling it. Other than that, everyone is great. Hopefully the next generation will come out with some improvements to the silver pan, as well as some extras. A timer would be nice, so would an optional small plate to put over the grill to scramble eggs or cook veggies and heat buns. They should throw in a free food thermostate too to make sure everything is done. That would be a nice touch for future grills. But, this one is pretty good and an excellent price. Also, unlike what some others have said, there is very little smoke if you follow the directions and fill the pan with some water.
