Learn how To Set Up Multiboxing Macros

I realized I should discuss my five boxing configuration with the general public, it's evolved a lot ever since I began using a Multiboxing Software and details have eventually achieved the point that I sense it's ready for the entire world to find! In the end, I have now leveled 5 to 70, 5 to 68, 5 to 40... and a colleagues completed a 2 box team to sixty and his 2nd team to the mid 20's applying this unique method...

My personal program is based on utilizing focus for targeting based off a head character. The reasoning was to help get a new leader of the team who leads quickly and easily. I wanted a method to handle selection quests without looting in smaller windows, and also a method to be able to rapidly retrieve in the dead-leader circumstances. I additionally needed it to scale properly, the addition of another character or elimination of a character should not make a difference.

Addons Implemented:

Macaroon

Jamba

Macaroon Set up

Assist Set up: I have an aid set up meant for situations where you need the target of all characters to pass on. I set up a single hotkey as an "assist" macro. Personally, i limited this to F because I am on WASD all the time regardless...

Code:

/target focustarget

That's it, mash that any time you shift targets and you're simply all set.

Jamba Setup

I use Jamba for whisper relays, subsequent, creating the party, auto set to "free for all" loot, and probably a few others which i have not recalled yet...

Jamba Config is simply reached by just typing /jamba in game. It is actually divided in groups, Jamba, Jamba-Follow, Jamba-Group, and so forth...

Jamba - In my opinion I have this all set as default. Simply no head modifying, target adjusting, focus modifying. Since the focus administration doesn't work in combat I did not see it as a good choice for this configuration.

Jamba-Follow - It alerts you if someone stops following, I do not auto follow right after fight, I specify the strobe period at 1 second.

Jamba-Group - Automatic Approve Members, Auto Recognize Friends, AutoSetLoot to "free for all", Auto Promote Master To Leader.

Jamba-Me - This is certainly mostly defaults, I believe I elevated the decreased health warning...

Jamba-Merchant - I set up getting all consumables such as water and food... very useful feature! Additionally autosell grays objects.

Jamba-No - I do not duel, it is really unnecessary. Jamba saves me time.

Jamba-Quest - I have all but "slave auto accept any quests", "Slave auto complete quest (No reward choice)" and also "Quest Silently" checked...

Jamba-Talk - I personally use this to forward my mail messages so i don't overlook messages.

Jamba-Taxi - This is often a blessing for flying, open the taxi user interface for all toons, and fly away... don't have to opt for the destination for everybody!

Multiboxing Macros Being used:

I needed minimal macro's, when i initially created the group, I spent never ending hours implementing macro's... each time I leveled I'd build new ones for brand new spells, it had been incredibly cumbersom. Utilizing these procedures illustrated right here I was able to create a process that didn't need macro's for most of my abilities.

That said... the macro's utilized...

The Major Key

/script AcceptQuest(); AcceptTrade(); RetrieveCorpse(); RepopMe(); ConfirmAcceptQuest(); StaticPopup_Hide("PARTY_INVITE"); StaticPopup_Hide("QUEST_ACCEPT");

/jamba-group invite

Typically this button is merely employed for forming the group and receiving trades... Jamba deals with the rest.

Leadership Supervision

I've five keys put in place meant for PIP trade through the Multiboxing Software, every key can be another macro on all 5 characters, the macro's are meant to allow the "big window" the leader, however, if you move to a little window and push it, they become head in that window, that helps with fast player vs player turns...

The actual "Establish me leader" key...

/focus character

/jamba setmeasmaster all

/jamba-follow strobeonme all

/script SetView(5);SetView(5);

The "Make someone else a leader" key...

/focus character

/script SetView(5);SetView(5);

Whenever one of the characters becomes leader, Jamba shows this into the others, they all follow that brand new leader, strobing follow each and every 1 second in or outside of combat. This stops me from actually having to push a follow macro other than in two conditions.... drinking and eating...

Food And Water

Since /follow breaks you out of eating and drinking, I have two macros to halt and begin follow... I have my x keys setup to send my formation distribute and prevent follow strobe on the same keypress, works out nicely, everyone moves away a little, then you hit your eat or drink button.

Start...

/jamba-follow strobeonlast all

Stop...

/jamba-follow strobeoff all

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Addons or Software mentioned in this article. Anyway, that's it. In the event that you have any kind of questions, feel absolutely free to visit my web site for additional Multiboxing Macros.
