How To Fix Water In My Apple Macbook A1181 Screen
Laptop screens are typically liquid crystal display (LCD) screens that are firmly encased in a plastic monitor frame. An unfortunate spill can cause liquid to seep in through the seams of the monitor frame and accumulate underneath the Apple MacBook A1181 screen. In addition to being a visual distraction, this can cause spotting as well as possible damage to the internal circuitry. To clean small amounts of water in your laptop screen, you can try setting your laptop open and upside down to let the water naturally fall out and evaporate. For major water spills and other liquids, you will have to carefully take apart the display.

Use your small nylon pry tool to remove the monitor frame. Put the tip of the tool under the outer edge of the frame, work your way gradually around the frame, and gently pry the frame off. Unscrew and pry off the plastic casings that cover the Apple MacBook A1181 screen hinge where the screen meets the keyboard. This will reveal the monitor wiring.
